It felt like they ran for hours when it was most likely a five minutes tops. The heat was getting to him, and he could feel the clothes stick to his skin.
To add insult to injury, he was sure that he had seen this place before. But then again, with so much greenery, it all looked the same. The Doctor pulled out the sonic screwdriver again, pointing it at all directions to find any sign of the TARDIS. Once he found something, he grinned at Handy and himself and took off.
And just seconds after that, he found himself crashing against one of the aliens that were chasing them. The Doctor looked up, and all he could really manage was a small wave, and hoped that they had just a little bit of luck.
